Vintage Friends View "The Last Days of San Jose"
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
View the Short Documentary "The Last Days of San Jose" and celebrate the life of Saint Elizabeth of Trinity who cared for the sick and those who lost parents.

How well do you know your Austin History?

"The Last Days of San Jose" (a hotel opened in 1936 for guests that included legislators, morphed into a Bible School, then gradually fell into disrepair, serving as a flophouse) follows the lives of the residents living in the flophouse when Liz Lambert purchased and operated the place for two years until she secured a loan to transform the hotel into what it is today.   By the end of the documentary you will care deeply about the individuals and their life struggles.

We will celebrate Saint Elizabeth of Trinity day, who cared for the sick and those who lost parents and the many other saints in our life time who recognize those who struggle.
