We are looking forward to all our visitors that come for Christmas! Come help us make the campus and buildings ready for them. We have projects inside and out, for all ages and abilities, plus refreshments to keep your energy up. Here is a sampling of what we’ll be doing:
General projects:
• Trash cleanup around perimeters of property and near dumpsters.
• Leaf Raking of lawn areas and collection into yard bags for disposal.
• Gentle pruning of shrubs and low beds – collection of cuttings into yard bags.
• Mulch/tend frontage beds
• Mulch Courtyard beds
• Find and recover surface drain in courtyard bed near butterfly steps (WARNING: irrigation electrical and plumbing in the area)
• River-rock the area around that drain to prevent silt build-up again
• Examine and flag all Activity Center folding chairs for damage
• Attempt to remove any stains from Activity Center folding chairs
Specialty projects:
• Glue down lifting corner of floor tile in gathering space
• Remove ballasts from all fixtures that now use LED bulbs. Primarily in gathering space and hallways to Activity Center and Office.
• Reaffix corner molding pieces coming off in Activity Center
