MUSIC

SING HALLELUJAH!
Music and worship arts at Shepherd of the Hills are filled with great variety and meaning. We love robust organ hymnody as well as guitars and drums! You’ll often hear both in worship, as we lift up multiple styles of music and liturgy to worship God each week.

LITURGICAL ARTS
We have several in-house artists who breathe a new and unique spirit into banners and other seasonal art that enriches the worship experience.
CHOIR & BELLS
In these pandemic times, our 5 Octave Handbell Choir has broken into smaller ensembles of 4-6 players. We can be heard twice a month, even outdoors! The singing Choir is offline for now, due to COVID.

GUEST MUSICIANS
We have outstanding musicians join us for worship, both from within and without our congregation. Austin Symphony section leaders, guitar players, jazz musicians, vocal soloists, multi-talented string and guitar players, flutists and more join in. In non-COVID times, we feature larger string and brass ensembles, including the UT Trombone Choir.
AV TEAM
Our AV team includes staff along with both Youth and Adult volunteers. There is a lot of talent here, but there is also room for more folks, too! We hold services in the sanctuary, gym and outdoors on the patio, and these folks make sure we all sound good in each venue.

95 NAILS
95 Nails is our Band, joyfully providing contemporary music. They play about once a month. Subsets of the Nails will often be heard in worship on any given Sunday.
