Bread for All September Report

Hi folks: Here’s the September report from BFA. Things were a little slower this month! That’s coming off an exceptionally busy three summer months. All things being equal, September was in line with 2024’s overall averages.

The slight slowdown in September was probably due to children being back in school and having better food access. We shall see the story that the last three months of 2024 tell us . . .

Sept. 2024: (4 distributions)

  • Total households served: 554 (avg. 138.5)
  • Total individuals served: 2,320 (avg. 580)
  • New neighbors served: 138 (avg. 34.5)
  • 24.9% of all households served
  • Food donated: 1,473 lbs.
  • Diapers distributed: 3,734

Also, I’ve attached the 2024 running spreadsheet at the bottom of this report for those who like to get a more detailed look at numbers and trends.

Our volunteer numbers and spirit remains strong. We are grateful for continued donations from neighbors and churches. We are purchasing food from the food bank’s “Wholesale Food Club” and are using donations to BFA for this purpose. Thanks also to neighbors and churches for financial support!

Diapers are always needed, especially size #6.

Till next month,
