Mariposa Family Learning Center (MFLC) provides young families in southeast Austin with high-quality child care, supplemented by parent education
and support. MFLC uses a “2-Generation” approach – working simultaneously with children
and their parents – with the goal of increasing each family’s access to economic, social,
educational and spiritual resources.
BREAD FOR ALL
Bread for All Food Pantry is expanding its services! In addition to providing food for hundreds of families each month, Shephills and other Lutheran congregations are growing this ministry to provide rental assistance and to bring personal empowerment through nutritional education and connection with community resources.
