CARE MINISTRIES

Life and Living
Those dealing with degenerative issues, Parkinson’s, aphasia, and other health issues do not need to feel alone. By sharing concerns with one another we discover opportunities and new learning. By enjoying a time of fun and fellowship we find a loving community to one another.
10 Great Dates
10 Great Dates is a ministry serving couples and their marriages. Drop off your kids (we feed them!), get a few pointers on building your relationship, and then head out on the town for a date with your spouse!

Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry is lay ministry, caring for people within our congregation and beyond our walls. Stephen Ministers are not counselors or therapists; rather, they are caring Christians who are trained and supervised to offer a listening ear and steady support to those who need to be assured of God’s love during the tough times in life, that may involve illness, death, divorce, loneliness, job loss or difficult relationships, to name a few. At times like these, life can be overwhelming. It helps to have someone walk with you, someone who will listen over and over again. Someone who will encourage you when you can’t see a better tomorrow. Family and friends have their own roles to play; a Stephen Minister’s only focus is caring for you, for as long as you need us. There is no shame in needing help. Why not make use of this confidential, caring ministry!
CONGREGATIONAL NURSE
Our Nurse provides a wonderful resource of care and health & wellness support to our congregation and community. She is available for questions about health care issues, and she assists the pastoral staff in caring for those who are in need through phone calls and visitation.
