God’s Work, Our Hands is an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) day of service nationwide. The Developing Missions Team will be hosting a light lunch and service activities as an opportunity to celebrate who we are – an ELCA church – freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. Lunch begins at noon and projects will start around 12:30pm. Projects are for all ages and include:
Brown Bag Lunch Preparation (50 lunches for Foundation Communities Blue Bonnet). In the Activity Center. Food Donations needed for this activity, sign up here and bring to church by Friday, Sept. 8
Prawl Shawl Crocheting (Learn how to crochet or hone your skills!). In the Library.
Table and Chair Cleaning (The Activity Center tables and chairs need cleaning, we supply the earth-friendly cleaning supplies, you supply the muscle). In the Activity Center.
Park Clean-Up (Light clean up of debris at Dick Nichols Park). Off campus at 8011 Becket Road, Austin.
