Stronger Together – Race to Jesus

Mondays at 7pm
Beginning June 20
Hosted by Carole Morgan

Beginning Monday, June 20th at 7:00 p.m., join us for a weekly gathering to read and discuss the steps in the book “Race to Jesus.” Author Dr. Clarence Hill has created a Dream Clock that helps us identify opportunities to make a genuine impact in building healthier relationships and working with others outside of our ethnic groups or any group that is outside of our comfortable and familiar sphere.

Please let us know if you would like to join and email Dabney in the church office.

“Race to Jesus” may be purchased on Amazon.  From the back cover of the book: “Jesus lived in a time of generational, ethnic division between the Jews and the Samaritans.  Their society had some of the same pain points and issues we have today, but Jesus handled them differently and with great success.

When you read the stories of how Jesus intentionally engaged with and recognized Samaritans, a simple, brilliant, and effective solution to racial issues become as clear as the plan of salvation.  His plan is better than you think and it is already making a difference in relationships, communities, organizations, and churches across the country.
