The Beyond Capital Fund Appeal is an investment in our future, and will fund the renewal of the Butterfly Center, and eliminate all debt.
RENEW BUTTERFLY
The Butterfly Center, which houses Butterfly Christian Preschool, is the only building on the church campus untouched by our previous Campus Renewal in 2017. On any given day there you will find tiny hands covered in paint, zooming red tricycles, and young mothers and fathers sharing their latest parenting tips at pick-up. It’s a thriving outreach ministry, sharing the love of God with the children and families who walk through its doors. But those doors, and much more, are in need of renovation. We are seeking to raise $2,000,000 to cover the cost of these renovations.
ELIMINATE DEBT
We also want to extend our vision of renewal beyond Butterfly - way out and beyond - so that all our ministries are recipients of our renewed commitment to the Spirit of the Living God. Following the conclusion of the previous Campus Renewal and This Matters! Capital Fund Campaign, we have a remaining debt of just over $1,000,000. Being debt-free is a gift we will give to both present and future generations at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
Our goal is to raise $3,000,000 over three years to cover the costs for the Butterfly Center Renewal and eliminate all existing debt. It’s a goal we believe can happen when God’s power moves within us “to accomplish abundantly beyond all we can ask or imagine.”
